Committees

Chamber committees play a crucial role in organizing, promoting, and advising on various initiatives.  The following are current committees of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.

Ambassadors Committee

The Rochester Area Chamber Ambassadors are a group of local business representatives from a diverse area of sectors who are committed to promoting Chamber activities and membership. Ambassadors represent the Chamber and perform a wide variety of duties. Their main function is to be a positive advocate for the Chamber, welcoming new members, and assisting in making Chamber events valuable and successful for our members. Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee (formerly known as Hospitality 1st Roundtable) is a set group of leaders from within the hospitality industry who work in partnership with area businesses, employees, and service providers to create an exceptional community experience for visitors and residents alike. In doing so, the Hospitality Committee aims to foster great service and entertainment in the community through collaboration with community partners.

Leadership Greater Rochester Steering Committee

The Leadership Greater Rochester (LGR) Steering Committee plays a vital role in guiding, carrying out, and assessing the LGR program each year. The committee is responsible for advising the program and session chairs throughout the year to ensure the program is on track to fulfill its objectives. Learn more about LGR here.

Local and Government Affairs Committee

The Local and Government Affairs Committee (LGAC) was established to facilitate appropriate decisions and advocacy on critical issues of importance to both Chamber membership and the surrounding community. The committee identifies and monitors city, county and state issues that can potentially impact the Rochester regional business community, providing information according to Chamber membership.
